Mens Lapel Flowers Collection With Long and Short Pins

Men's lapel flowers often have a bad reputation and most people think they are only good for weddings or proms. That is pure nonsense because lapel flowers are much more versatile than that. Fortunately for the lapel flower they have seen a huge resurgence and they aren't reserved solely for formal occasions.

There has been a style resurgence of more classic looks and accessories when it comes to men's suits and accessories. The new twist on men's lapel flowers is that they are made with more versatile materials and not fresh. Fresh flowers tend to wilt with time where as a handmade fabric flower will look good from the beginning to the end of the day.

The lapel flower adds an air of sophistication and flair to an otherwise boring suit. Prince Albert was one of the first men to be photographed wearing a lapel flower. Rumor has it that Queen Victoria gave him flowers just before a photo shoot and he broke one off the bouquet and stuck it in his dress coat.

Lapel flowers can be made from a variety of flowers. Common lapel flower fabrics may include linen, cotton, silk, felt, satin, and burlap. They are attached to the jacket with either a stick pin, or button.

There is a right and wrong way to wear a lapel flower. Just like a real flower a fabric lapel flower should be worn on the left lapel above the heart. The stick pin the flower is attached to should show through the front of the jacket.
